Wilma Wakker Model Management

Wilma Wakker began her career as a fashion editor in Holland. For 25 years she worked mostly with her husband, photographer Martin Robbe. Wilma and Martin enjoyed transforming these young girls into professional models.

Just by accident, 10 years ago, Wilma approached a pretty girl on the street and suddenly Wilma Wakker Model Management was founded. In the beginning she continued with her work as a stylist as she slowly scouting and developed new talent. From the beginning Wilma decided to focus on girls that could work towards an International career. Most of the girls who are with her never thought about becoming a model, but with Wilma's nurture and guidance they do surprisingly well. Preferring to keep the agency small, Wilma and Martin can concentrate on coaching the girls individually. Wilma will very often travel with the girls, especially while they're young and during show seasons. Although this is a high pressure business and contrary to the quiet life in Holland, Wilma Wakker loves where her career has taken her. To Wilma, there is nothing in life so fulfilling as being a model mom.
