Ke': That is kind of how it happen...I dunno I guess life is extreme. So is she a good kisser? Oh yes. The best kisser I've ever kissed. Who's taller? Me by a little Y'know there're these Twilight Zone sorts who float between the fashion world and the music world. Have "they" been hounding you for dates? Yeah a lot of those..."twilight people" have been calling me up to hang out . It's strange but...Its something that Bjork obviously does very well but you know I don't percieve myself as being nearly that cool as her. So what the hell were you doing hanging out in the men's room during the Paris Mens Shows?

Kismet is the word, right. I guess I spend a lot of time in bathrooms. I'm into evacuation....elimination...y'know I'm into eliminating all excess.(laughter) Then the video shoot for Strange World in the bathroom of the abandoned Ambassador Hotel in LA was obviously your idea. Yeah it was. I had no idea though that it was going to get so much attention. After all people do spend a lot of time in bathrooms right? To me its just a very normal place to hang out. Did you choose Sophie Mueller to direct "Strange World"? Yeah, I love her style . She loves beauty but a quirky kind of beauty.I love her lighting. She tweaks it so its scary but familiar at the same time. I love what she did for Annie Lennox in "Why". That was the shit , so to speak. Yeah and Bjork's "Venus As A Boy", that was amazing. And the Courtney Love. Was that the "Miss World" thing? Uh-Huh I loved that. I gotta get a copy of her reel! You should. Sophie's editing is so great. She has this tremendous sense of humor but at the same time it maintains a serious edge.

My favorite track on the CD is " Don't Walk Away". The build on that is genius. That's funny, that's my favorite track too. And it turns out to be one of the best songs to do live. It's the build that makes it work so well. Are you embarking on a tour then ? Well I'm headed to Europe but hopefully I'll do a few dates at The Fez before I go. Were you one of those who's been singing and playing since childhood? Pretty much. It was just something I did as a means of expression more than...I never thought of it as something that was going to get me a record deal. I've heard of people taking a long time to get to this point but I think what's happening is that things are happening for me the way they were meant to happen. Which reminds me. What is your background? . You mean... Ethnically speaking I really don't...It's confused. Its a little of everything. I don't know all of it. I know there's Cherokee/Indian and there's Irish/Welsh but with my Dad I'm not sure. He's.....human...I hope. Funny you say that I get a massive alien vibe from you. I've accepted that I am an alien. It's possible. It's something I've always suspected, that whole feeling of not connecting to the way things are usually done. So what planet are you from? Oh probably something in the Cirrus system. Everytime I look at Cirrus on a star map I get a little homesick. I don't know where I'm from. Probably....Uranaus.
