Well, not to write a long ass letter, but, some of your club
listings are out of date (RIP:Grandville) and anyway, I had another
question. Your Guide to Social Climbing is decent and amusing but not of
any real practical use. I still can't get into SPY on a jumping night after
9:30 (everybody knows who Kelly Cole is, that gets you no props with King,
who is an asshole) or Wax or Pravda. Those spots are totally blown up at
this point, and I was wondering, how the fuck can you get in there. I've
been doing a party for a while "Funk Tonic" that has been switching venues
(Read: 40 Below/Here) But I still have yet to meet any of the big door
people (Tim Spooches was no help, he couldn't get into Wax either) and
still can't get past that dumb bitch at 2i's on a friday or saturday. What
the fuck do I need to do to get into these spots?
