Its an age old mystery. One silly club owner once said "This is the only business where I can treat the customer like sh*T, make him wait for hours outside in the rain, charge him $20 when we finally let him in, bill him $7 for a mixed drink and still have him be grateful in the morning ." Which is why I propose that the consumer refuse to take that crap anymore. If you hit a joint and they're being nasty---turn on your heels and walk. We've had doormen drop that rank attitude very fast and come running after us apologising cuz its raw economics baby! They need your cash to exist you see and that's Nightlife's dirty little secret.
