We are calling from the Look On-Line a fashion industry web site/bbs in New York City. Enjoyed the story on fashion photography and the computer.
I have for a number of years as a fashion photographer worked with a computer but have had little success in convincing designers to use them
to there best effect. I remember about a year in a half ago I made a presentation to Jeanette Chaing the Publisher of Harpers Bazaar about sponsoring the Launch of my BBS (it was held at Sony Plaza with about 1100 people attending) and when I saw they were still pasting up the magazines pages with pins on the wall I knew it was pretty hopeless.
Fashion is in general a very low IQ industry. Of course now with the hype of the Internet so loud the industry is having problems in ignoring the possibilities.
