That's us, and since you mention it, one good piece of PR deserves another. I've
downloaded a release (seems much more appropriate than sending it by fax to you) on our
upcoming events this Spring in film, fashion and art. Keep up the good work on your site -

GEN ART'S "FIRST EXPOSURE SERIES"
Events Showcase Emerging Talent in Film, Visual Arts and Fashion
New York, NY -- On April 27, Gen Art will launch THE FIRST
EXPOSURE SERIES - a series of events promoting rising young talent in
film, fashion and the visual arts. "The First Exposure Series" will feature a
six-day film festival, four-day art expo and an evening of fashion. These
events will be one of the broadest and largest displays of young emerging
talent. "The First Exposure Series" also marks Gen Art's expansion into the
film arena with its support and promotion of young filmmakers.
(1) "The First Exposure Series" begins with the GEN ART FILM
FESTIVAL 1996, which opens at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall on April
27 and continues until May 2 at the Gramercy Theater and the new "Screening
Room". The Film Festival will include features, shorts, documentaries,
animation and experimental films by filmmakers ages 18-35. The Film
Festival is supported by an Advisory Board of influential individuals from the
independent film world including actor/director Edward Burns ("The Brothers
McMullen"), singer/producer Michael Stipe (leadsinger of R.E.M./producer
for New Line Cinema), director Wayne Wang ("Joy Luck Club," "Smoke"),
director Alan Rudolph ("Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle") producer
Christine Vachon ("Kids," "I Shot Andy Warhol"), screenwriter Paul
Auster
("Blue in the Face"), producer Ted Hope ("Eat Drink Man Woman") and
actor Griffin Dunne ("Search and Destroy").
(2) "The First Exposure Series" continues with Gen Art's ART EXPO '96
running May 9 - 12 at 600 Broadway. Keeping with Gen Art's tradition of
launching new, young talent, the Art Expo will feature works by more than
thirty artists under the age of 35 working in a variety of mediums including
photography, painting and mixed media. Unlike many other art fairs where
each exhibit area is run by a dealer, Art Expo '96 artists will be responsible
for creating and overseeing their own environment. Art Expo '96 will also
offer visitors a unique opportunity to see and purchase a large array of
affordable artwork by emerging artists in a hands-on, user-friendly
marketplace.
