(3) "The First Exposure Series" will conclude on May 18 with Gen Art's FRESH
FACES IN FASHION II, also held at 600 Broadway. This fashion event will
highlight the talents of emerging young clothing and accessory designers under

fashion last June, which was hosted by designer Cynthia Rowley. The designers
to be included in Fresh Faces in Fashion II are being chosen by a selection
committee which includes Terence McFarland (Interview), Joe Zee (W), Ann Caruso
(Vogue), Robin Wunsch (Mademoiselle), Marcos Teo (DNR), Kristina Ferrante (In
Fashion), Gina Kelly (Elle), Michelle Jonas (Mademoiselle), Melissa Berry (In
Fashion), Hedy Gold (Glamour), Rondi Cooler (YM), Anne Slowey (WWD), Ruth Gilas
(Glamour), Kimberly Kaye (Mademoiselle) and Elizabeth Stewart (New York Times
Magazine). In addition the high-profile modeling agency, Company Management, has
agreed to be the exclusive provider of all of the female models.

ABOUT GEN ART

Gen Art was formed in 1993 by four young professionals: Melissa Neumann (26,
finance), Ian Gerard (27, law), Stefan Gerard (25, publishing) and Andrea Crane
(27, art) and first began by operating out of Ian's law school dorm room.
Founded with the goal of shattering the barriers between the traditional arts
establishment and young artists and audiences, the organization has since opened
full-time offices in New York and Los Angeles and assembled an advisory board of
influential individuals from the arts including Christo, David Salle, Ross
Bleckner, Louis Bourgeois, Laurie Anderson, Andres Serrano and William Wegman.
Gen Art has also created one of the largest sites for a non-profit organization
on the internet's World Wide Web (http://www.genart.org), developed a Youth
Artist Alliance program to help provide arts education to high school students
at public schools which lack the resources to do so, and most importantly, has
presented exhibitions/showcases for dozens of young emerging visual artists in
New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles.
