Musician, movie maker and now mannequin, multiple media threat Travis at 1 Management is kicking up a modeling storm. He's landed coveted gigs in the FW02 Louis Vuitton with Mert n Marcus and H&M with Greg Kadel, as well as logging significant editorial mileage in L'uomo Vogue with David Slipjer and Another magazine with Horst. Catching up with MDC while at the Cannes Film Festival Travis summarized his view on the film/fashion continium by saying "I used to put on Blade Runner (not the directors cut, I think I'm the only one who prefers the studio release) when I was a kid and if I paused it anywhere in the film, it was a beautiful image that I could make up my own story about. That's what inspires me in fashion. I love fashion as a medium for creating incredible stories in 10 or 12 pages. When I see pictures from Helmut Newton or Bruce Weber I imagine the characters caught in the midst of some fantastic scene. I look at a Peter Lindbergh Italian Vogue story from a few seasons ago and even though you can't buy those clothes anymore the images are as amazing now as they were then and will still be in a hundred years". Amen to that!
