From Jed Root website: Born and raised in Paris, Charles Varenne began his career at Numero magazine in 2000. His talent first emerged within the accessories department where he became a full time member of the Numero team and was later on promoted to fashion editor of Numero and Numero Tokyo. Charles has worked closely with such notable photographers as Michael Thompson, Sebastian Kim, Jean Baptiste Mondino, Greg Kadel, Josh Olins, Mariano Vivanco, Horst Diekgerdes, Liz Collins, Richard Bush and Miles Aldridge. Charles has worked as a consultant for a number of renowned international brands, including Iceberg Woman and Sonia Rykiel Homme, and has styled for fashion events for K by Karl Lagerfeld, Levis and Nike. His commercial clients include Louis Vuitton, Diane Von Furstenberg, Lacoste, Etam, Charles Jourdan, Cartier, Longchamp, Clarins, Biotherm, L’Oreal and Givenchy.
