Gianluca Santoro was born in Salerno,Italy, he started travelling at very early age and has lived in London, Paris and he is currently based in New York.

He comes from a family of artists. His work has been featured in advertising collaborations for leading fashion houses as Louis Vuitton, Lancôme, Gucci and in editorials such as Vogue Italia, Vogue France and American Vogue.

He also well know for his black and white portraits of celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Hugh Jackman, Uma Thurman and Nicole Kidman. Gianluca’s photography is underpinned by his interest in the camera as a tool for experimentation and a fascination with the process of making images.
