biography

Country of origin: United Kingdom

Top English stylist and editor at Harper's Bazaar US since 1995. Worked with Helmut Lang for 13 years as stylist and designed the women's line towards the end. Was part of the whole 90's cool British fashion pack which included Corinne Day, David Sims and Kate Moss. Has also worked with Calvin Klein and Karl Lagerfeld. Brother is photographer Anthony Ward. Melanie just started her own line of clothing in September 2009 called Blouson Noir.
