Models.com 2017 Industry Awards

The Models.com Model of the Year (MOTY) Industry Awards are the voice of over 250 voters representing a wide range of the industry’s top professionals, including many of the industry’s top stylists, designers, photographers, editors, hair and makeup artists and casting directors, and a wide range of the next generation of the industry’s emerging creative talents. Participants include Katie Grand, Melanie Ward, Bethann Hardison, Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Ellen Von Unwerth, John Pfeiffer, Mariano Vivanco, Hung Vanngo, Sebastian Faena, Angus & Noah, Piergiorgio and many more!

Fashion’s biggest fans also got in on the fun: the Readers’ Choice section offers an up-to-date and often surprising selection chosen by you, the MDC readers. The people have spoken – tens of thousands of them in fact and their choices are every bit as exciting as those provided by insiders.

The awards are broken down in 9 categories as follows:

Model of the Year: Women

The singular face that defined the year as a whole with ubiquitous industry demand and presence. They distinguished themselves via top tier bookings with the best photographers, stylists and clients earning next-level visibility, making them 2017’s foremost star.

I am so glad Kendal Jenner is nowhere in this list. Or any kardashian for that matter. The fame is finally dying out. Good. They have no talent

    • A says:

Most models are young, skinny and tall (there are a variety of faces out there) and Kendall fits the bill! Sure maybe she wouldn’t have been as successful as she is or even broken into the industry without being associated with the Kardashians, but you can’t be mad at her for following her dreams.

  13. Francisco says:

I do not agree with the public’s choice …
it’s so commercial, so mediatic, Kaia gerber and presley gerber, they do not impact me as much as other or other highly charismatic models, in short, it’s a clearly popular vote, that is boring, hahaha
Bella Hadid is so unhuman, cold, people only project themselves for their success and fortune.
adwoa aboah away the best model, beautiful, friendly.
lacked nice models like Rianne von Rompaey
