Cuba is shaping up to be the destination of choice for New York’s menswear designers for Spring 2017, as Carlos Campos looked to the island nation’s tobacco fields for inspiration in his latest collection, which also featured his first foray into womenswear. In keeping with his clean modernism, Campos remixed the classic guayabera with military influences and dangling straps in pure white, green, navy with a loose silhouette that hinted at tropical climes.
